Having studied zoology at Durham University, Joe began his career as a field surveyor working for several ecological consultancies across the south of England. With over 9 years of consultancy experience he is now an accredited ecologist with an extensive knowledge of UK wildlife obtained from volunteering with charities and undertaking ecological surveys predominantly within Hampshire, West Sussex, Dorset, Greater London and Surrey.
